Ava = Perfection

August 6, 2010

I’ve been less then inspired with my blog the last month or so. Searching my hard drive for recent work worth sharing I came across folder 161. Folder 161 contains a series of images I made on a recent trip up Powell Lake with my friends Joe, Carol and my beautiful niece Ava. Wallah! instant inspiration.

People say nothing is perfect. In Ava’s case I have to disagree. There are many images of little Ava in this post, that’s because every single one of them inspires me and puts a smile on my face. Thanks Bella!.

Sundown

I made this stop motion video up at my friends float cabin on Powell Lake. The smudge in the upper left corner around the 17 second mark is a bat flying by.

Wishing I was still on it.

Itchin!

March 8, 2010

I have the itch. You know, that overwhelming urge to go somewhere, anywhere! I was looking at some old travel images on the weekend and it gave me the itch!. There is an opportunity to go to Costa Rica soon, hours of yoga on the beach, surfing and good food. Anyone been? ….thoughts?.

So here’s a little ode to the itch that is travel, may we all get a good scratch this year.

I started my vacation with a 40th anniversary party for my Mom and Dad. We held it at my Aunt and Uncle’s home over looking the ocean on a beautiful warm sunny day. The following are random images from that day. Congratulations Mom and Dad.
