As today marks one year to the day that I broke up with cigarettes I felt it fitting to wish my lungs a Happy 1st Birthday.
Any of you that follow this blog know that typically this is the part where I would add photos of my lungs in their youth, learning to ride a bike, graduating from high school, playing beer pong and backpacking around Europe.
The truth is I no longer have any of those photos, I hacked them all up about a month after cigarettes left.
Today is my dear friend Sara’s birthday and I’d like to take a few minutes to tell you a little about her.
Her fashion sense was so ahead of her time...
...that her sunglasses are back in style. The overalls I'm not so sure about?
She's always up for an adventure. Here she is barreling down a luge track at 90/kmh...
...and here she is hanging off the edge of the CN Tower!
She enjoys hiking in her sash...
...more than swimming in her pool.
She has a dog named Pork Chop.
She can be a bit of a nerd...
...but she's a Rock Star to me. Gum boots and all!
Sara is a talented writer, she has an amazing website that everyone should visit and sign up for. It’s called Eager Beaver and it’s meant to encourage you to get off your arse and live like you give a damn!
Sara lives in an actual palace, she’s thoughtful, loyal, funny, witty and clever and I’m proud to have her as my friend.
